The Gibson Performance Cat-Back Exhaust is a great exhaust system for any Mustang V6 owner looking to get a little more power and sound out of their car. This exhaust system makes V6’s sound surprisingly deep. While it won’t make is sound like a V8, it has a great, unique sound.

It has a resonated X-pipe to reduce drone and is relatively quiet when cruising. There is a tiny bit of drone but it isn’t enough to be bothersome. While it is never ridiculously loud, it has a smooth sports car sound when accelerating, with plenty of volume to turn a few heads. It has giant exhaust tips that look awesome. It also comes in matte black, a great look for any mustang, but especially a dark colored one.

I had this Exhaust system on my 2015 Mustang V6 and it sounded great, but of course I thought I could make it even louder. I eventually took off the resonator that it came with and replaced it with a resonator delete H-pipe. that setup sounded awesome, but had a bit of drone. While is sounded great driving around town, it would kill me when I had to drive on the highway.

My point is, if you want an exhaust system that sounds good but isn’t too loud, the Gibson Performance Cat-Back Exhaust is a great option. If you want to make your Mustang as loud as it can possibly be, you may be better off going another route. The Gibson Performance Cat-Back Exhaust is made in the USA though! It is a great choice for anyone who wants a unique sound for their Mustang V6.
