The MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers are a great product and were one of my favorite things I purchased for my first mustang, a 2015 guard metallic V6. They give your car a much more old school, tough look. Rear window louvers also provide you with more privacy inside you car and can keep off your rear windshield such as leafs and rain. Their purpose is just to look cool though. Many people worry that rear window louvers might effect their visibility, but in reality, they don’t. When you look in your rear view mirror, its still easy to see out the back, much like looking through open blinds.

I purchased these MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers for $400. Now that I’m looking to get some for my new mustang gt, I found some slightly different ones to try for a lot less. They are Lambo Style Rear Window Louvers, and they actually look even meaner then the MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers. These only cost $145 and seem to be pretty much the same thing as the $400 ones I bought before. They are a slightly different style and do not have the rubber things on them that the MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers have to prevent rattling at highway speeds. I believe I can solve this problem myself though. I am going to mess around with them and try to use the same method the more expensive louvers use to make these silent too. They also don’t come with Adhesion Promoter, which is a good idea to use when installing anything with 3M adhesive to ensure it stays on well. 3M Adhesion Promoter can be ordered online at very little cost. I would also suggest getting some 3M Silicone Sealant to prevent water from loosening the louvers from coming off. I’ll post As soon as I have come up with a cheap solution to the rattling.
