The Lambo Style Window Louvers are an awesome look for any s550 Mustang. I had Some MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers on my Guard Metallic 2015 Mustang V6 and they were great. Those were expensive though. The Lambo Style Louvers are a much less expensive option. While I am installing Lambo louvers here, the installation process is the same as it is for many other louvers.
I bought a few extra things other then just the louvers to bring the $150 Lambo Louvers up to the same level as the MMD Rear Window Louvers. While You can get and install the Lambo Style Window Louvers with out the extra things and steps I used, I would highly recommend doing them. Many people complain about their louvers falling off or getting messed up in car washes. these extra steps should prevent that. The more careful you are installing your louvers, the smaller the chance is you’ll have problems with them later.

Below is a list of everything you’ll need to get. All of this should cost under $200. The things in bold are links to the product:
Alcohol Prep Wipes: only need a few but they only sell them in boxes. these are the same ones I used.
The installation process is as follows:
Step 1 is to wipe off the back windshield. Use some sort of soap and water and a microfiber towel to clean it as good as you can.Step 2 is to wipe down the black edges of the windshield with a alcohol prep wipe. Use one for one side and one for the other side. This is where the adhesives will be sticking to.Step 3 is to attach the adhesives to the bottoms of the mounting brackets. Start by taking them off the backing and rubbing them with some adhesion promoter. I used 2 adhesion promoters for this part. Then place them on the bottom of the mounting brackets.Step 4 is to attach them to the louvers. Carefully place the louvers upside down and put the mounting brackets on the bottom of the louvers like this. This is when you need the rubber spacers. Before putting on the Mounts, put two of the rubber spacers on the stud. Then put the stud on the mounting brackets through the pre-drilled wholes on the louvers. Grab the washers and nuts, and put the washer on the stud, and then screw it all together with the nut.Step 5 is to take the plastic off the 3M adhesives and rub them with adhesion promoter. DO NOT uncover the adhesive in the middle on the bottom of the louver. Anything that is stuck directly to the louver and the windshield will prevent you from being able to take it off and from installing correctly. Once you have the backing off the adhesives that are only attached to the brackets and have used adhesion promoter, you can move on to the next step.Step 6 is to put the louvers on the back windshield. You’ll want someone to help you with this. Each of you grab one side and line up the top of the louvers with the top of the windshield. Be very careful putting it down, as the adhesion should stick as soon as it touches and you may not be able to readjust. Carefully place the rest of the louver down and then push down on all the areas with adhesives. Step 7 is to take the louvers back off and press down on the mounts. Unscrew and take off all the nuts and washers and the louvers should slide off. Then go around and put pressure on all the mounts making sure they have stuck on well.Step 8 is to seal up the edges of the mounts. Get out the Silicone sealant. Go around the edges of the mounts and seal them up so that no air or water can get in them.If you want to, you can then go around them with an alcohol prep wipe and clean up any smudges caused by the sealant. Do not touch the silicone sealant that is on the mounting brackets. Next, wait 24 Hours.Step 9 after waiting 24 hours is to finally put the louvers back on. Make sure you have the rubber spacers on first before putting on the louvers. once the louvers are on, put the washers on again and screw them on with the nuts. At last, you are done installing the Lambo Style Louvers on your S550 Mustang.
